Default 60 Plus and still kicking

Hi I'm Fred part of a foursome old geezers with attitude. We came together in a Kevin Bidwell online training course that went south because Kevin was no longer responding.

Two of us have extensive computer and IM backgrounds with the other two being computer savy. Two have copyrighting experience and I have 25 years of small business software development.

We're looking for an experienced 5th who will be a resource and inspiration for our success.

Any takers?

Fred

Default Over 60 and still young

I am from Columbus OH. I certainly fit the age criteria. Don't know what you are seeking in experience. I have dabbled on the internet for several years. Originally to sell my consulting/coaching business. As I got older I tried to set up some semi passive income with adsense. Due to minimal success I now am in the process of working with a model that I can continue to build into the future. All of those things gave me experience of a sort. Would like to join a team of like minded folks. skype dana3819

Cool Almost over 60

Hello from Washington State:

My name is Mike. I'm almost 60, (58.33) and this sounds like a group I could work well with. I'm a retired airline pilot and have been dabling in the internet marketing business for the past couple years.

My wife and I have attended several internet marketing seminars and spent more money than I'd like to admit on tools to help us succeed. One of those was a DVD seminar given by Ed Dale and Frank Kern in Queensland a few years ago...and we've been fans of Ed's ever since viewing those DVDs.

I'm pretty computer savy, a student of Perry Marshall's, Dan Kennedy, Brett McFall, and currently enrolled in a professional copy writer's course with Michael Masterson. If you feel you could work with a "younger" guy in the group, then I may be your man. Here is my contact information:

Default Hello from the Midwest - A 50+ gal

Fred,

I would be honored to be part of your group if you haven't closed it off yet and if you would be willing to accept a "younger woman." I am 52 (going on 53!) but most of my friends are in their 60's and 70's.

I have been learning everything I can about having a business online for several years now. I am a Nutritionist by education and profession but I have tried my hand at a variety of different jobs and businesses over the years. Can't say that I've ever made much but I've learned a LOT!! I've successfully sold my art on ebay and books on Amazon.com. And now I'm determined to establish passive income streams online with my knowledge of nutrition, health, and wellness.

I also studied with Kevin Bidwell a couple of years ago. He advised me against starting a nutrition/weight loss business online. What he suggested was that I write a cookbook instead. Well, I did that and have had little success in selling it (but I have some new ideas for trying again!).

I now have several sites and blogs on various health and wellness topics for women. I market with blog posts, articles, social sites, and hopefully I will be making some simple videos soon. I am beginning to make "dribbles" of income with adsense and affiliate sales. If I stick with this I know I can make it work. But with the level of competition I'm facing, it's going to take some time. I need to have a "money maker" for the short term.

I know how to set up simple websites and I have quite a bit of experience in working with wordpress open source software and blogs. In addition, I have been exploring web 2.0 websites for about 6 months now and I have a fairly good sense of how they work. I may not be a fast learner but I am instead a very hard worker and I stick with something till I figure it out!!

I participated in the 30d challenge last year and have been a big fan of Ed Dale ever since. I did not succeed in making my first dollar within the 30 days but did a few months later.

I am currently a member of the Immediate Edge group (Dan Raine and Ed Dale's private membership site). It's been very worthwhile!

Any chance you have room for one more?
