Actually the sales conversion rate is ok. 1 in 23 people buying when they get to the actual sales page isn't too shoddy. You now need to increase traffic to the blog and test your offer. See if you can improve the click throughs on the offer to the money page. Then, when you have higher numbers you can see whether the affiliate product is selling consistently or whether you need to test a new one.

I am still at it with my site not had a sale yet I have not ranked on the first page, I am putting my lack of traffic down to this

Thanks Lisa. Yes, you're right it's not too shoddy is it! I think the problem is lack of traffic - rather than changing the affiliate product.
Bill, maybe you and I chose a keyword phrase that'll take a bit more work to get traffic - more links and more content needed. Thanks for your comments. |
