Default I'm a PR2!!!!!!!!!

Woah, with over 93 backlinks listed on yahoo (probably have more tha aren't listed), with 2 .edu backlinks (pm me if you want to know how to get them... I'll exchange my blackhat secret in exchnage for yours), and a cheap dofollow sitewide link from a pr3 website.

I now have a pr2 website.

What this means is that

*I have legitimacy as someone who knows a thing or two about seo.
*Any keyword I target will now come with an extra kick
*My competitors are going to be scared....
*I'm definately doing something right...

I'm so happy, and I couldn't have done it without the help I received from 30DC, the 30dc has brought so much to me, and I've recommended it to so many of my friends...

I feel like I've arrived now, I've acquired a good understanding of SEO, and have so much further to go! So much more to learn, and so much more money to make.

Oh and I'm also making about £130+ a day in profits on my site... so that's a nice little bonus

Tiger

Congrats Tiger! Could you please share your blackhat knowledge to me? I don't have anything to exchange as my site is pr2 also after a month of following Ed intructions to the detail but I really can't pinpoint the exact reason why it went on being from being unranked to having a page rank of 2 just this week even though I'm not exchanging links that much. Anyway hope you share the knowledge to all thanks.

PS.
I have yet to earn anything from my blog could you share your earning secret too?

Thanks for the reply everyone, I just reached no.2 for a 80,000 per month search term for UK searches in google and I'm making decent money from it.

no.1 is a youtube page so I'm not really too bothered about it, and it won't affect my profits much if I spend ages hacking away at it, getting more and more backlinks, to get to no.1.

However if no.1 was another selling page you can be your bottom dollar that I'd try my hardest to take it on.

So I'll through up another webpage for a different product and get that ranked. I'll straddle off my domain authority that I've built (400 backlinks in total according to market samurai), and list the page on the same site.

Ok In the spirit of giving back, I'll share my blackhat .edu trick.

Please don't abuse this, and start spamming educational websites, try and keep everything ontopic, and add value to the discussions at all times...

Ok there are a couple of forums on .edu and .gov and .ac.uk domains (I'm not sure if .ac.uk is recognised... but it's still worth a shot IMO).

Ok just go to google and do a search query to find all forums on a .gov/.edu/.ac.uk domain...

for example

site:.edu inurl:forum "video games" AND smf|vbulletin|phpbb|mybboard|phorum|mercuryboard

the site: and inurl: tags for all intents and purposes work the same way, I'm sure you could use inurl: twice and it will have the same effect.

video games is my niche (so the search returns forum threads related to my niche)

and the last bit tells google to look for ANY of the listed forum scripts... I've taken the best stab at getting the most popular forum engines on there... there may be some I missed out.

You could experiment by chasing after blogs, or removing the last part altogther for a wider search result. I narrowed it down because really you only need a few of this "trustworthy" backlinks..

It feels good to be the only site with a BLEG entry on my samurai competition matrix

Market Samurai has a similar gov/edu forum backlink search option inside "Promotion"

I hope this helps

Poo! Here I was all excited about finally getting PR and I'm just a one. Obviously need to work on the quality of my backlinks as I have twice as many as you. Hmmm. I have several that are high PR, but apparently not enough. Off to work that more!

(And congrats to you, particularly on the money thing! I'm not anywhere close to that. Yet. It'll come.)

Susan, don't forget to be as relevant as possible with further links,
and other details like load time etc.
This is from May, but still very important

Gah. I have to worry about load time?

I'm as relevant as I can be. My niche is mommy-blogger territory, which doesn't lend itself to relevance or high pagerank, unfortunately. Thanks for the link!
