Default #1 Spot on Google for my Keyphrase!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone involved with the 30DC.

Thanks to using the techniques taught this year, I now occupy spot #1 for my keyphrase.

My keyphrase has:

SEOT 456
SEOC 8530
OCI 92%

Thank you again!

I had a fairly high SEOT for my niche as well. The best tip is keep digging and don't give up, you will find stats like that if you are willing to put in the work. It took me 3 days to find a niche that would work and gave me the stats I was looking for.

If you are running short of ideas make a list of things you like or know about. Then plug them into Market Samurai, which is what I did. Eventually you will find what you are looking for. And don't dismiss odd keywords or keyword phrases - usually they have pretty good stats, and if you work at it you can make the phrases work for your site.

Good Luck!

Question Pardon my ignorance, but I have a dumb question

I am green as grass, just finished day 6, and I am doubting myself at this point. Am I looking for a low SEOT or a high number?

I have four phrases with SEOT of 111, 136, 136 and 167 respectively.
The adword traffic is 3, 2, 2 and 5.
The SEOC is 15600, 16700, 51900 and 32400.

Am I on the right track or I am off in left field by myself.

You can check out my first blog at

As well, if you do look at my blog, can someone tell me why I have all those /// slashes preceeding my last technorati tag and following ///. It is making me mental.

Thanks for you interest

High SEOT (>80)
Low SEOC (<30,000)

The first two look OK. The second two might be too competitive - it's a bit up-in-the-air as to whether you'll rank easily on these.

I think your link will get deleted by Moderators (to protect your niche)

I don't see any slashes on your site. I don't see your site on Technorati.

I have removed the personal link, but looked at your blog and couldn't see any problems with your technorati tags.
