Success at last!

I finally made a sale and the funny thing is that it was so unexpected!
I started the thirty day challenge in the middle of August, my first site ranked really well and I got some decent traffic to it but no sales and therefore eventually I had to call it a 'no go'. My second site took longer to rank but had similar results and again I had to call it a 'no go'. Being really determined to make this work for myself, I started a fresh again with site number three. I felt a lot more confident about the research I did through market samuri this time round and had a good feeling about this one. I started it last Monday (26 Oct), did a bit of work on it to get it up and running, did all my article postings and then had to leave it. My husband and I took the kids away for an extra long weekend and I promised to leave the computer behind.
Yesterday (5 Nov) I was finally able to get to my computer to check how things were going and get a bit more work done on it. Ranking was something like 200 and had only 13 visitors in total to my site. Next I checked pretty links and I couldn't believe it when I saw that all 13 visitors had clicked through, WOW. And one of these 13 had actually bought - woohoo, I had made my first sale. My commission was only $1.28 but I guess the challenge is to make a dollar and therefore I was successful.
It has taken me 2 and a half months to get to this point and I'm excited now to continue moving forward.
I've just received an email from Ed about trialing the immediate edge for 14 days for $1 so I'm going to give that a go.
Thanks to the team at 30DC - you have really made this a positive experience for me and I look forward to a rewarding future in internet marketing.

Goes to show how it's all a numbers game. Some markets are more product hungry then others, it's just how this game works

Awesome how you stuck with it, even after 2 failures... In fact, even the failed websites aren't failures since you could sell them off and make your money back
