Default Well I did it

Some of you may remember my Clickbank troubles thread, with the thousands of visitors and nothing to show for it possibly because of an account glitch. So after I figured this must be the trouble, I went with a new account, installed pretty links on my blogs to make future link changes quick and easy, changed the links and then fell off the face of the Earth where IM was concerned.

Real life just got in the way. Part time night shift, full time university, and recently becoming a single parent again. Then on a lark tonight, I checked my Clickbank stats, and I made a sale after 150 visitors to one of my blogs haha. 20 bucks is just 20 bucks, but considering it was only a new-ish blog I haven't worked on in months I was pretty impressed. So I'm a believer and going to start back into this game again.

Peace out folks!

-Brent

That's awesome mate!

Well done... Just a question regarding your traffic. Did your 150 visitors come from Organic search traffic or was it directly using PPC?

I'm asking this because i'm having problems with my blog at the moment with organic traffic as i have about 10 blog posts on it and my web 2.0 sites set up and pointing to it, but no manual backlinks in place yet since it's after the PPC section and haven't begun PPC as of yet...

Ah the gremlins ate my reply. I'll try again.

All my traffic is organic, I don't ever use PPC because I don't have the money to throw away implementing my lessons.

Remember to socially boomark, I use Social Marker as I haven't gotten into traffic bug yet, but it gets me a couple hundred relevant hits per day when I update thrice daily. At least it did a few months ago when I was working it full time.

Remember to implement SEO with your keyword research, this can get your individual blog posts to register on Google's main page for organic traffic.

That's brilliant!

Reason i'm asking is 'cos i'm currently in 2 minds about PPC at the moment. All of my blogs are uploaded onto traffic bug and am ranked in Google but aren't getting much organic traffic as of yet... Still very low on a few of my category keywords...

I think maybe it's the market i'm in as some markets are more competitive than the others...

I guess its just a matter of time before organic traffic starts showing up. You could also try you hand at some blog commenting and blog posting on web 2.0 sites to build more authority backlinks for the purpose of traffic generation and backlink visibility.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I've yet to actually start implementing backlinks yet as it was after the PPC section and didn't feel like is was advisable to skip to it, so i simply focused on adding more and more articles to my blog...

I think backlinking is important and i get why we need to do this and add value to the site as so many people complain about spamming which gives Internet Marketers a bad reputation.

And also since you're helping get traffic to your site by diverting some of the customers from other more popular blogs, onto your site which makes a lot of sense...

Default Good job

Good job Brent! I would highly recommend using Traffic Bug. I have used it and it works wonders.
Good luck,
Mike
