Flippa success $250
Yeah. I am so happy. Just flipped my first site for $250 - the buy it now price. I was a bit nervous for the first 29 days I just has a bid of $1. I was even thinking of lowering the reserve I'd set. Then on day 30 of auction it sstarted moving pretty quick - and then all of a sudden someone just bought it for the $250 price. More than I expected.
I trying hard to replicate the success for a few more sites. I hope it isn't just first time luck.

I was browsing through flippa the other day to get ideas on how to write good sales letter and actually bumped into your one without realising that you were part of the 30dc...
The way you wrote the sales letter was very good. very impressed with your blog as well  Well done.

That's Excellent.. Congrats!
I'm thinking about flipping the 1st site I built as well, in hopes of speeding things up on my lnew one a bit. I know I can do much better this time around. What was your site about and how long were you running it before you decide to flip it, if you don't mind me asking?

If you dont mind , since you already sold your site, can you link us to your sales ad ? (if that is allowed by the forum) ...
I have 4 ranked sites (top 10) that didn't make the conversion cut ... that i have hanging around ... One of them drives 300 clicks to amazon a month, but has yet to show any conversion ... I need to move all four...and if I can get 1000 dollars for them (using a strong sales letter) that would rock !

haitham - It is easy to find. Go to Flippa, click on "Just Ended", and keep clicking on the More button (or Next) to keep taking you back in the history. When you see something on 11/25 or before ending at $250.00, you've probably found it
.There are quite a few sites selling for $200+ that can give you an idea of what helps a site to sell for a "reasonable" amount. Marvin
