Ok I have sold 2 sites on flippa and I'm in the process of selling my 3rd site.

the first site - $190

second site - $1500

third site - Its still in auction but the bid is at $1200 after 2 days I might be able to get $8000

I just used wordpress sites. I put in a good bit of optimization. The biggest thing is how you present the sites and how you write your sales copy.

Offer the buyer more than what they think the value is.

Congratulations! Can you describe more in detail your optimization? How many backlinks? How long has the site been live? Tips for writing effective sales copy? I'm listing my first site now, which was the one I used for 30DC. I haven't gotten a single sale yet. I average about 800 visits/month. I listed for 15 days -- 6 days in with no bids.

I would focus on optimizing your site for adsense. Then once it starts getting clicks and generates revenue then I would sell it. You won't get much if it doesn't generate revenue.
