I have made my first $1 through 30DC. In fact it is more like $50 now (over the past couple of months). I think I made hard work of it by choosing a niche I have no interest in, and has been a learning curve in terms of the 30DC lessons and also learning about a subject I have no interest in.

Just starting out on a new niche - in two hours I found a niche, acquired a domain name, set up a WordPress blog, sorted out a googlemail address and wrote two articles. Obviously there is quite a bit more to do, but Ed was right it does seem to be quicker the more you do it (third time - the first niche was a failure). I dont think I have learnt my lesson though - I have chosen another subject I know very little about (doh!)

Congrats on u r success, btw if you want to expand in u r niche I have a tip for you, as you said you have no interest or knowledge about that niche, I have the same problem and what I did is I searched for a book with good readers ratings on amazon and I bought it, I really found everything I need in my niche and also I liked the subject "some how" lol and when the users read what I wrote they know that I have a good knowledge about it and they return to the website.
