Finally succeeding, thanks to the skills learnt here

Hi folks,

I’ve criticized the program in the past for pushing followers towards X or Y product (Market Samurai one of them) instead of teaching how to do stuff without these products (harder but free and you learn on the way).

Nevertheless, I want to thank the 30DC guys for all the knowledge that I acquired through the program. Because I have a well paid fulltime job that I enjoy, I haven’t been 100% dedicated to create a product and follow the whole process right to the end. I finally done this with my new website: [link removed by mod]. It is a very obscure niche, but I am finally getting commissions from Amazon and Google ads.

A few tips of what I’ve done for this website:
  • Wikipedia: great source of traffic – but you have to be very careful. I added links to my pages on the “External Links” section of articles that related to my topic. Don’t be obvious or abuse the system. Use links that lead Wikipedia users to genuine, valuable articles in your blogs. If you link to a meaningless pages or abuse the system (too many links to the same place), your links will be deleted.
  • Amazon: do not solely use astores (too learn more about them visit astore.amazon.com). I did this for a while. I couldn’t understand why with good traffic I wasn’t making a single sale. The issue is, that your handpick products are often not enough for some users.
I replaced all my links to products in my astore with links directly to the products in amazon. Since I did that, my sales multiplied. In fact, I got commissions for products completely unrelated to my niche.

Thanks again to everyone!
