Default Went after My Brick and Mortor Biz, $10K sale from web site

Okay here is a pretty cool experience with the thirty day challenge.
I am a handyman by trade in the Santa Barbara area and have been doing this since 1999. When I started the business I made a website, I had no idea what I was doing, I revamped it several times over the years and it was solely an information site with traffic driven to it by maybe a referral or business card every once in awhile. Not much traffic at all. Well a few weeks ago I decided to take it down and bring it back up as a word press blog style website. This time I targeted key words such as handyman Santa Barbara and Home Repair Santa Barbara.

Before I launched the blog and took down the old site I googled these terms and could not be found anywhere within the 1st 10 pages of the google results. Now see for yourself, I am listed above the fold and am either the top or second from top listing in the google maps directory too. I had this result within 12 hours of putting my new site up and using the 30Day Challenge. Here is a screen capture using these techniques.

Now the best part, Someone in Pennsylvania was looking for a handyman in Santa Barbara to help her grandmother fix up a rental unit. She did her search, found me, called me and today I was awarded a contract with her and her grandmother for $10,000 to completely redo the home and get it ready for the next renter.

So hats off to you Ed, Bob, Dan, Cora and the rest of the 30DC crew, you did me right. Thank you.

Oh, here is the site that did it.
Experienced Handyman Services

Ed, I know you really thought this would work for the artisans of the world, here is proof.

Thank you

Congrats. A big part of your success is the quality of the site.

You might want to check into removing the footer links on your WPD Blog. I believe there was a post on the forum as to how to remove erroneous links.

Default Removing the footer

I know I know, I have tried once and it was too complicated at the time, so I still have it planned, I want to put terms and privacy links there. Then I might even get ranked higher!

Nice! I can barely tell it is a WPD blog.

I like your comments above and "the self-sell" below the videos. Is that generated content or your own search?

A constructive comment I'd give is to have less categories.

"I want to put terms and privacy links there"

Will you add them as a new page?
