Im assuming this is a big file so you may need to break it
up and then have it reassemble after downloading. Here is one way that may work for you using 7zip (free) How-to: Break up large files easily with 7-Zip | PCMech Watch the video on how to do it. Create a download page with your download and a link for 7zip for your customers to download it (free) and maybe put together a pdf or short vid how to extract the zipped file for them to use/watch your video(s). ***

Hey Ron,
Thanks very much. I have watched the entire video and this is a great way to back up files and archive stuff. Since downloading files needs to be stupidly simple for most people, and definitely my customers, there must be some way of zipping and unzipping very large video files. Have you used the 7z concept with customers? Frank

Heya Frank,
You can zip a large file in one shot. The reason I brought up splitting your file up was because some people may have trouble downloading a file that is to large and also bandwidth limits. I am assuming your file is large being you mention it is menu driven. The way the 7z split works is all the files get downloaded to a folder and then you just have to extract the first one and the rest of the split files will reconstruct back together into your single file. It gives the customer a way to download smaller files and than turn them back into one larger file. If this may still be something you think might work and need more info of how to put it together and execute it drop me a PM and I'll cut you a quick vid on the process. ***

Hey Ron,
Thank you very much the time you've taken to explain this better. I am indeed looking a foolproof way for my customers to download and extract without having to be the least bit technically challenged. Usually when stuff (software, videos, courses) are downloaded (either paid or free), a single *.exe file is downloaded and then extracted in a folder. I want to replicate that same experience without having to download another application to unpack it. If you are willing, I would very much like to see a video showing me how this could work in this scenario (both creation and customer download/unpack). Most appreciated Frank
