I've had nothing but trouble with iTunes, so now get at all the content either via Google Reader or direct from the 30dc+ site.

I had some problems getting the video to work in iTunes, but fixed that and thought all was okay.
I like the idea that I just ask iTunes to Refresh the list and if anything new is there I just click Get and it is added to my list. It is just this odd thing that the items I listed in my first post in this thread, which I think are all pdf files, were in the list I clicked Get and when the files were downloaded they are in the wrong place and there is no obvious way to tell iTunes to move them to the right place! ![]() I don't know if its a problem with the info Ed or someone put in the info for iTunes or a problem/bug with iTune! I would like to solve this and continue with iTune so hope others might be able to help. Thanks Bryan |

Hi Guys,
iTunes 9 when released appears to have had issues with PDFs in podcasts. It wasn't restricted to just 30DC Plus stuff either, I saw reports of it happening with a wide variety of podcasts. Apple have quickly released an update, iTunes 9.01, so make sure if you have 9.0 that you update straight away. Cheers, Nez

Hi Nez
Thanks for the reply. I have already been keeping my iTunes updated so I am already on version 9.0.1.8 which is the current version at this time (just used Check for updates). So I should be okay for new pdf downloads, that just leaves the problem of how to move the current misplaced items. You would think this would be a simple thing to do, I see menu items like copy but no past, so how do you move items between podcast lists? Do you know how to do this Nez? Any one? Regards Bryan |

I too can't view most of the pocasts on my iPod or iPod Touch. I saw in another thread where you can right click on the file and click on "Create for iPod or iPhone" or something like that. But when I right clicked I didn't get that option.

If you're using a PC, there is a free utility called "Format Factory" you can use to convert the files so they'll play on your iPod. I use it so I can watch/listen to them on my Touch. Format Factory
