Ed has done quite nice video about how to record video with the help of camera. But I've alway been interested in the way Ed records video from his computer. He makes the video extremely nice with the help of different tools, for example red dot on the screen, zoom, etc. One day Ed told about "Jing", but I hadn't found none of special fucntions in that simple tool. Ed, please, if you hear me, would you be so kind to tell me how do you record such amazing video from your computer? And people, if you get some ideas about how to create good video and what tools to use, share them here, please.

The main program Ed uses to record from his computer is a Mac program called Screenflow. Very versatile and easy to use but not available for Pc's

As Bill states,
For a Mac Screenflow is the way to go. If you are on a PC than Camtasia by Techsmith is the best software to use. ***
