Default Generating Backlinks With Market Samurai (Advanced, I think...)

Hey Gang,

I posted this on the Immediate Edge forum but there seems to be more folks here answering questions :-)

Anyway, here's what I posted and I'm hoping someone with some knowledge can help me out :-)

Hey Gang,

So I've got a question and hoping a fellow edger can help me out.

After watching Guru Bob's recent video for the 30DC+ and seeing the crew at Market Samurai come out with their latest video showing link structure of different sites, I went ahead and started doing some research myself (and boy am I glad I did!).

I've found some great places to get some good backlinks by simply posting comments on blogs and initially I saw those backlinks show up almost immediately and got greatly improved rankings.

After I saw this, I figured this was pretty cool and would try with another one of my blogs but haven't seen as good of results. Some of the backlinks are from the same sites I used for the other blog and am thinking that's a problem.

So my fear is that by posting multiple comments on one blog or site pointing to my two different sites is kind of making my efforts washed and that they might be seeing my ip address as a potential spammer?

I'm certainly leaving quality comments but just am not seeing the results like I did initially so I was wondering if some experienced Edgers can leave their input.

I tried using some free proxy services I found online but those don't seem to be working and won't let me post any comments for whatever reason.

Are using proxies a good idea/solution to this and if so any recommendations while our proxies are down?

I'm kind of rambling I know but just trying to get all my thoughts out to see if I can get a good answer

Thanks!

Multiple links on the same blog at not as helpful. Except links also bring traffic so commenting on current posts on a top blog will bring traffic today and a little traffic tomorrow too.

Multiple comments on a blog is a very natural thing for people to do. If you like a blog don't you keep returning. You are not going to get penalised for it but it has a lower return.

Hope that helps.

Hey lazyBum the tests I have run on this have shown that two links on one blog/blog comments will still pass link juice to your site. But, it will not pass anymore page rank to have more than one link.
