30DC Day 20 Introduction

Adding More Keywords And Ad Groups

Day 20 - Today's lessons continue with PPC using Google Adwords. Today focuses on increasing the amount of traffic your Google ads are generating by adding your category keywords and split testing some ads.

Pete demonstrates how to view and interpret the statistics of your ads after they've been live for 24 hours. Pete explains how to view the results broadly, as well as view the results on a per keyword basis. Pete then uses some example ads to give an overview of the different styles and techniques you can try when creating more ads for your ad campaign.

Pete also shows you how to add more keywords to your Google Adwords campaign, using your category keywords from your blog. Pete takes you through the steps of creating a new ad group in order to use the keywords.

Objective For The Day - After completion of today's lessons you will have a greater understanding of the types of ads that can be created, how to interpret the data that is generated, and you will have also created new ad groups and ads using your category keywords.
