Preseason - Google Analytics
Google Analytics - One of the important tools used in the Thirty Day Challenge is the free tracking service Google Analytics.
With Google Analytics tracking code installed on your site or blog, you can track both the type of traffic you get, and the nature of that traffic. It can also give you some valuable insight into the types of keywords that people are using to search with that are bringing traffic to your site.
This video by GuruBob gives you an overview of the interface and statistics available, how to create site profiles, and how to install the tracking code that Google Analytics generates for you.
Handy Tip - Don't worry if you don't have a site to use this on yet. It's still an important part of the process that you should get your head around now, so that when the time comes during the challenge to use Google Analytics, you will already know what to do and how to interpret the data you get.
